teamLab Forest Fukuoka is an immersive digital-art museum by the celebrated teamLab collective, located inside the BOSS E-ZO leisure complex, next to the PayPay Dome stadium. The space is divided into two large sections: Catch and Collect Forest, where with an app you can catch, observe and release virtual animals that appear projected around you, and Forest of Motion, a succession of rooms with installations of light, colour and sound that react to movement and create the sensation of entering a living, ever-changing forest. It is a very visual and photogenic experience, different from any traditional museum and suitable for all ages. Admission is around 2.200 ¥, with the option to add souvenirs. It is reached by bus from the centre of Fukuoka to the PayPay Dome area, in the Chuo district. It is advisable to buy the ticket online to enter by scanning the QR code without queues. Allow about an hour for the visit, and take the chance to combine it with the other attractions of the E-ZO complex, which is in the same building. It is one of the most modern and fun plans in the city.
