Miraikan is the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation of Tokyo, located on the island of Odaiba, and an essential visit for those fascinated by technology, robotics and the future. Its most iconic exhibition is the Geo-Cosmos, a sphere ten metres in diameter suspended in the air that projects images of the Earth in real time with more than a million LEDs. You will also be able to see demonstrations of the ASIMO humanoid robot, explore sections on artificial intelligence, climate change, space exploration and the medicine of the future. Admission costs 630 ¥ for adults (210 ¥ for under-18s); the combined ticket with the Dome Theater is 940 ¥. Hours: 10:00 to 17:00, closed on Tuesdays. It is reached on the Yurikamome line to Telecom Center or on the Rinkai line to Tokyo Teleport. Important note: the museum will close for renovation from October 2026 to April 2027, so plan your visit before that date.
